How to Enable All-Inclusive Pricing

Step-by-step instructions for configuring all-inclusive pricing in your E-Commerce and Tax & Surcharge settings.

This guide walks you through enabling all-inclusive pricing, which displays ticket prices with all configured fees and surcharges included from the start of checkout (rather than adding them at the end).

How to Enable All-Inclusive Pricing

Step 1: Enable Display All-Inclusive Pricing in E-Commerce Settings

  1. Navigate to E-Commerce > Settings
  2. Scroll to the bottom and locate the Display All-Inclusive Pricing checkbox
  3. Check the box to enable
  4. Choose Save

What this does: This master setting tells TripWorks to calculate and display all-inclusive prices throughout your checkout widget.

 

Step 2: Choose Which Fees to Include in All-Inclusive Pricing
Not all fees or surcharges need to be included in the displayed price. You have control over which ones are "baked in" to the ticket price shown to customers.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Tax & Surcharge Settings
  2. Select any fee or surcharge you want to include in the all-inclusive price
  3. Go to the Advanced tab (last tab)
  4. Check the box labeled Display All-Inclusive Pricing. When enabled, ticket prices will include this fee at the start of checkout, rather than displaying it separately at the end
  5. Choose Save

Repeat for each per-person fee or surcharge you want included in the displayed ticket price.

Important Note

All-inclusive pricing only works with per-person fees. Fees or surcharges configured as "once per trip" cannot be included in the displayed ticket price. Since "once per trip" fees are applied once based on the total order amount, they cannot be calculated or displayed on individual ticket prices at the start of checkout.

 

 

Step 3: Test Your Configuration
After enabling all-inclusive pricing, open your booking widget and select an activity:

What you should see:

  • Ticket prices display the all-inclusive amount (e.g., $57.50)
  • Label displays: "Includes all fees" with a tooltip showing what's included
  • All-inclusive pricing displays throughout the entire checkout flow


Troubleshooting

My prices aren't showing as all-inclusive

The "Includes all fees" label isn't showing

  • This label only appears when all-inclusive pricing is enabled and there are applicable fees to include
  • If your base price equals your all-inclusive price (no fees configured), the label may not display

I'm not sure which fees are configured in my account

  • Navigate to Settings > Tax & Surcharge Settings to see all custom configured fees
  • Contact support@tripworks.com if you need help understanding your booking/credit card fee structure
     

Can I turn this off after enabling it?

  • Yes, simply uncheck the box in E-Commerce Settings and save. Your widget will return to showing base prices with fees added at checkout.
