An activity status in TripWorks indicates the current stage of an activity’s availability. Whether you’re still building it, have it hidden for internal use, or have it live for customers to book, each status helps you manage the lifecycle of your activities.

Activity Statuses

  • Draft: When you begin creating an activity, it automatically starts in Draft status. This means the activity is still under construction, and you might need to make additional changes before it’s ready for booking.
  • Unlisted/Private: An activity marked as Unlisted/Private is hidden from your public booking widget, but team members who are logged in can view and book it. This status is ideal for private events or activities you prefer to book manually for customers who inquire directly.
  • Live: The Live status means your activity is fully built, visible, and bookable through your e-commerce widget. Both customers and team members can see and book the activity when it’s set to Live.
  • Archived: Activities that are no longer offered or used can be marked as Archived. This status hides the activity from your widget and internal booking view, but you can still access it for record-keeping or historical reference.

How to Change an Activity Status

  1. Navigate to the Activity you want to update by selecting More > Activity Catalog from the toolbar

  1. Choose the activity for which you want to adjust the status
  2. Select the desired status from the dropdown menu in the upper right

  1. The activity status will automatically update
