Override Policies and Notes for Individual Activities

Learn how to customize policies and add notes for specific activities.

If certain policies or confirmation notes apply to specific activities or just one, consider overriding your global policy with one tailored for those particular instances. Global policies provide important information to guests within their confirmation and upcoming reminder emails. For guidance on defining your global policies, refer to this article.

 

Adjusting Policies for Individual Activities 

To define a policy for an individual activity, first you must navigate to the activity editor. To do so:

  1.  Navigate to your Activity Catalog by selecting More > Activity Catalog from the toolbar

 

  1. Choose the activity for which you want to define a policy
  2. From within the editor, select Policies 

 

From here, you can set custom Cancellation Policies to be applied and displayed in confirmation emails when this activity is booked.

Be sure to save your changes before exiting!

 

Important Note

If a policy for an individual activity is left unfilled, the Global Policy will be applied by default. If neither an activity-specific policy nor a global policy is set, no policy will be displayed within your email messaging. 

 

 

 

 

Adjusting Notes for Individual Activities 

To define specific Confirmation Notes and/or Self-Transportation Notes for an individual activity, first you must navigate to the activity editor. To do so:

  1.  Navigate to your Activity Catalog by selecting More > Activity Catalog from the toolbar

 

  1. Choose the activity for which you want to define a policy
  2. From within the editor, select Policies 
  3. Scroll down inside the editor to enter your Confirmation Notes and Self-Transportation Notes 

 

Important Note

If confirmation or self-transportation notes for an individual activity are left unfilled, the Global Policy will be applied by default. If neither activity-specific notes nor global notes are set, no policy will be displayed within your email messaging.
