Adding Notes to a Timeslot

Highlight special details on specific timeslots that customers can see during the booking flow.

TripWorks allows you to add public-facing notes to individual time slots within your Activity Catalog. These notes are a great way to communicate special details about a specific activity, right within the booking flow.

 

Time Slot Notes are perfect for highlighting short, visible details like:

  • “Spanish Guide”
  • “Gina’s Bachelorette
  • “Megan’s Birthday”
  • “Private Charter”

These brief notes help set expectations for guests booking that specific timeslot.

Important Note 

Timeslot Notes are public-facing and will override any default text such as “Available,” “Call to Book,” or “X Seats Left” (which are typically set through Restrictions).

Only one note can display per timeslot, so use it intentionally to highlight important guest-facing details

 

 

How to Add a Timeslot Note

  1. From the dashboard, choose More 

 

  1.  Choose the activity where you want to add a time slot note
  2. Select Dates & Times on the left menu 

 

  1. Select the date and time slot you’d like to update
  2. In the Timeslot Editor, scroll to the Display Settings section
  3. Add your message under Timeslot Note

 

  1. Choose Save

 

Once saved, your note will appear directly on the selected timeslot in the booking flow—making it easy for customers to see important details before they book.

This small touch can go a long way in setting expectations and reducing booking confusion.
