The Customer Portal is a guest-facing page where your customers can manage their bookings on their own — view their upcoming trips, sign waivers, pay outstanding balances, and reschedule or cancel their activity. It's linked from every confirmation email and reminder, and works on mobile or desktop.

How customers access the portal
Every confirmation, reminder, and reschedule email includes a link to the customer portal for that booking. When a guest clicks the link, they land directly on their trip details.
What customers can do
From the portal, your guests can:
- View their upcoming trip(s).
- Sign their own waiver and allow additional guests on the booking to sign their waivers.
- Share a waiver signing link with other people in their party.
- Pay any outstanding balance.
- Reschedule or cancel a trip, subject to your activity policies.
The trip view
When a guest opens a trip in the portal, they see:
- The essentials at a glance — what activity, when, where, and what they need to bring or do before the trip.
- Action buttons — sign waiver, pay balance, reschedule, cancel, share waiver link — only the actions that apply to their booking are shown.
- Status indicators — confirmation, balance owed, waivers outstanding, and any pre-trip steps that still need attention.
The portal is designed mobile-first because that's how most guests open it — usually from a phone link in their confirmation email.

Signing waivers
If the trip requires a waiver, the portal walks the guest through signing for themselves and for any additional guests on the booking. They can sign all waivers from a single screen, or share a unique signing link with each guest in their party so each person can sign on their own device.
See Collecting Guest Waivers for waiver setup details on the operator side.
Paying a balance
If the trip has an outstanding balance, the portal shows the amount due and a Pay Balance button. The guest can pay with a credit card — they don't need to call your team to settle up.
The payment posts to the trip immediately and the balance updates in the back office.
Rescheduling and cancelling
If your activity policies allow it, guests can reschedule or cancel from the portal:
- Reschedule opens a calendar of available timeslots for the same activity. The guest picks a new time and confirms — your team sees the change reflected on the manifest immediately.
- Cancel shows the cancellation policy and any fees that apply before the guest confirms. Refunds (if applicable) are processed automatically per your refund settings.
The portal displays your policies up front so the guest knows what they can change and what it costs before they commit.
Customizing the portal for your business
You can customize the customer portal to match your business needs by enabling or hiding features such as rescheduling, cancellations, tipping, and more. For a complete breakdown of available settings and customization options, see Customizing the Customer Portal.
