The manifest can show when each resource on a booking is out and when it's back, right next to the resource's name. Turn on Show resource times under the Resources column, and every guide, vehicle, boat, or piece of equipment gets its own time range. It's a quick way to answer "when is that kayak back?" without opening the booking or switching to the Timeline.

Turn on resource times
- Open Manifest and select the Table view.
- Select the menu icon at the top right of any activity or timeslot, then choose Customize Columns....
- Find Resources (type "resource" in the search box to jump to it) and check it if it isn't already.
- Check Show resource times, which appears under Resources once it's checked. If your account uses its own word for resources, the option uses it too, for example Show boat times.

- Select Done.
The change applies right away and is saved with the manifest view you're using. It's off by default, so team members who don't need it never see the extra detail.
Read the times

With resource times on, the Resources column lists every resource assigned to the booking on its own line, followed by its time range:
- Back the same day: the start and end time, for example 10:30 AM–2:30 PM.
- Out overnight or longer: the start and end dates, for example Nov 2 – Nov 3.
- Staggered assignments: each resource shows its own window, so a guide who's done at 11:30 AM and a kayak that's out until 2:30 PM read differently on the same booking.
- Unassigned: a resource the booking needs that hasn't been assigned yet shows as Unassigned, with the time it's needed.
With the option off, the Resources column goes back to a compact list of names, with a count when the same resource appears more than once.
Examples
- Find out when a kayak is back: turn on resource times, find the kayak in the Resources column, and read its end time before you promise it to a walk-up guest.
- Spot overnight rentals at a glance: a date range like Nov 2 – Nov 3 tells the front desk the equipment won't be back today.
- Check when a guide is free: see that a guide's part of a booking ends at 11:30 AM, even though the boat stays out until 2:30 PM.
- Catch gaps before the day starts: look for Unassigned lines and assign a resource before guests arrive.
Frequently asked questions
I don't see Show resource times. Where is it?
It only appears once the Resources column is checked in Customize Columns. Check Resources first, and Show resource times appears right below it.
Do the times show up when I print or export the manifest?
No. Printed manifests and CSV exports list the resource names without times. The times show on screen in the manifest's Table view.
Is this the same as the Timeline view?
They show the same assignment times in different ways. The Timeline lays every resource out on a timeline for the day, which is best for planning and drag-and-drop changes. Resource times put each booking's times right in the table, next to the guest, so you don't have to switch views to check one booking.
Why does a resource show a date range instead of times?
It's assigned past the end of the day it starts, for example a full-day rental that runs into the next morning. When an assignment crosses into another day, the manifest shows the dates it's out instead of clock times.
Why do I see the same resource listed twice on one booking?
It's assigned to that booking twice, for example once for each ticket, and each assignment has its own time range. With resource times on, every assignment gets its own line so no time is hidden.
Will turning this on change the manifest for my whole team?
The setting is saved with the manifest view you're using. Team members on a different view keep their own setting. To set up separate views for different roles, see The Manifest view.
