How do I Change the Start Time of an Activity?

geThere may be instances when you need to adjust the start time of an activity, whether due to scheduling changes or to better accommodate your customers. TripWorks makes it simple to update your availability! Follow these steps to quickly modify the timeslot for an activity.

 

Change the Start Time of an Activity for a Single Date

 

  1. Select an activity from the list 
  2. Select Dates & Times from the sidebar menu 

 

  1. Choose the specific timeslot you’d like to edit in order to adjust the start time
  2. Use the dropdown to select your new start time 

 

  1. Choose Save
  2. Reschedule any existing trips to the newly created timeslot

 

Important Note

If a timeslot already has bookings, it cannot be edited:

In this case, it’s best to create a new timeslot with the updated time, reschedule any existing bookings to the new timeslot, and then remove the old one.

Change the Start Time of an Activity for a Multiple Dates

If you need to adjust multiple start times, the easiest approach is to delete the existing timeslots and add the correct ones. Here’s how:

 

  1. Select an activity from the list 
  2. Select Dates & Times from the sidebar menu 

 

  1. Choose the timeslots you’d like to change 

Pro Tip

Selecting the “All” column header will select all timeslots on the page at once

 

 

  1.  Once your timeslots are selected, choose the trash can icon to delete the selected timeslots

Important Note

Timeslots with existing bookings cannot be deleted. Learn more about why certain items can’t be deleted here

In this case, it’s best to create the new timeslots with the updated times, reschedule any existing bookings to the new timeslot, and then remove the old one. 

 

 

  1.  Select Create in the upper right to add your new timeslots. Learn more about Creating Timeslots here.
  2.  Reschedule any existing trips to the newly created timeslots
