Reseller Agent Logins

Easily track sales, commission, and other reporting metrics by giving individual logins to your partnered resellers' team members.

If your resellers have multiple team members who need access to your TripWorks portal, you can create unique logins for each agent. This lets you track who made each booking, manage access securely, and support better reporting and commission tracking.

Why Create Separate Agent Logins?

  • Identify which agent made each reservation
  • Enable individual commission tracking
  • Improve accountability and transparency
  • Allow resellers to give controlled access to their staff
  • Let agents run performance reports and track bookings

 

 

What Can a Reseller Agent See?

When a reseller agent logs in:

  • They will see all bookings made under the reseller account, not just their own.
  • They can run reports showing overall sales performance, including:
  • Total bookings, including booking volume over time, commission totals, experience-level performance

This makes it easy for agents (or their managers) to monitor how the reseller is performing and adjust efforts accordingly.

 

How to Add a New Agent Login

  1. From the toolbar, select More > Resellers

 

  1. Select the reseller for whom you are adding a reseller agent 
  1. Navigate to the Agents tab

 

  1. Choose Add

 

  1. Complete the required agent information fields, then choose Send Invitation


 

  1. Instruct the reseller agent to open their invitation email and follow the prompts to activate their account

 

 

Agent Permissions

  • Agent logins are always tied to their parent reseller account.
  • They inherit the same permissions and access controls you’ve configured for that reseller.
  • Agents can see all data associated with the reseller account, but not data from other resellers or from your direct bookings.
  • If commissions or wholesale rates are enabled, each agent’s sales can be tracked separately.

 

 

Best Practices

  • Use a unique email address for each agent to enable secure logins and individual tracking.
  • Regularly review and update agent access to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Deactivate old logins when agents leave or change roles.
