Vouchers allow a customer to pay for a specific activity upfront without having to specify the date on which they (or the voucher recipient) would like to go on the trip. Vouchers differ from gift cards in that:
- Gift cards have a specific monetary value assigned. That value can be applied (as full or partial payments) toward any activity, products, and anything else available for purchase through your TripWorks account.
- Vouchers represent full payment toward a specific activity. When a customer redeems a voucher, they are simply asking to select the date and time on which they plan to go on a trip that has already been paid for in full.

How to Set Up Vouchers
Step 1: Enable Voucher Program
Before you can assign vouchers to individual activities in your catalog, you must first enable the voucher program.
- From the toolbar, go to More > Discover More
- Choose Vouchers
- Select the Enable Voucher Program checkbox
- Choose Save
Step 2: Add Desired Voucher Style
In order to enable vouchers for an individual activity, you must have at least one voucher style to choose from.
- Navigate to the Voucher Styles tab
- Select the New Voucher Style button
- Give your new voucher style a fitting name (visible to your team only)
- Save your changes
- In the resulting dialog box, you can either drag and drop a downloaded image file or select the Browse link to choose a file from your device. Make sure the image in question is clear and meets the requirements specified
- Choose Upload Style
Step 3: Apply Desired Voucher to an Activity
With your new voucher created and styled, you can apply it to one or multiple activities in your catalog. When you apply a voucher to an activity, you are making it possible for customers to pay for that activity up front, then book at a later date when they are ready to reserve their prepaid trip.
- From the toolbar, go to More > Activity Catalog
- Select the activity to which your new voucher should apply
- Choose Vouchers from the sidebar menu
- Ensure the Enable Voucher Program checkbox is selected, then choose the desired voucher template from the drop-down menu
- Save your changes
